About Alpaca Loca
Alpaca Loca is a label specializing in luxurious scarves and throws made from alpaca wool. We consciously choose this material, not only for its exceptional softness and warmth, but also because it is naturally hypoallergenic, durable, and pill-free. Alpaca wool insulates excellently due to its hollow fiber, doesn't prickle, and lasts for years.
Gemaakt in de Andes
Onze collecties komen tot stand in Ecuador en Peru, samen met ambachtelijke partners waarmee we al jaren samenwerken. In deze regio's wordt textiel al generaties lang geweven. Een vak dat van generatie op generatie wordt doorgegeven.
We kiezen onze partners met zorg en investeren in relaties die jaren meegaan. Die continuïteit maakt het verschil: we kennen elkaars werk, spreken dezelfde taal als het op kwaliteit aankomt, en bouwen samen verder, seizoen na seizoen. About Alpacas
An alpaca resembles a small llama and lives in the highlands of South America. They have been bred for centuries for their exceptional fleece — which naturally occurs in 52 colors and requires minimal processing. Softer than sheep's wool, stronger than cashmere. And yes — baby alpacas are among the cutest animals on earth.
