About alpacawol
Alpacas live in the highlands of the Andes, where they have been raised for thousands of years for their fleece. That fleece produces wool that is soft, lightweight, and warm—qualities that have made alpaca wool coveted for centuries.
Our alpaca wool comes from partners in Ecuador and Peru, close to the origin of the fiber and to the people who have been making textiles from it for generations. It is a wool that feels soft, provides warmth, and drapes beautifully, qualities that perfectly match the scarves and plaids we make.
